On 28 August 2018 the Department of Trade and Industry gazetted the inclusion of the Y.E.S. (Youth Employment Services) initiative into the Amended Generic Codes of Good Practice. The inclusion of the Y.E.S. initiative to the Codes could potentially improve the scorecard up to two B-BBEE recognition levels
